Playnite Library Web

Terms of use

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply to the Playnite Library Web website and its Playnite extension (together, "the service"). By creating an account or linking a PC you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What the service does

The extension uploads information about the games in your Playnite library, and the website shows it as a page that anyone with its link can view. The service is free, run as a hobby project, and offered as is.

2. Your library is public

3. Your account

4. Handles

Handles are first come, first served. Do not choose a handle that impersonates someone else, infringes a trademark, or is offensive. Handles that do may be changed or removed. A handle you give up becomes available to others 90 days later.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

Libraries or accounts that break these terms may be removed, with or without notice.

6. Content and trademarks

7. Availability and changes

The service may change, be interrupted or shut down at any time. Features may be added or removed. If the service is going to shut down, a notice will be posted on the home page in advance where possible. Keep your own records; Playnite remains the source of your library.

8. Ending your use

You can stop at any time by unlinking your PCs and deleting your library or account from your account page. Sections 6, 9 and 10 continue to apply after that.

9. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free. Steam matches and cover art are found automatically and may be wrong.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator of the service is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service, including from information you chose to make public.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated; the date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions: open an issue on GitHub.
